New Orleans (Sept. 20, 2005) - President George W. Bush receives a brief in the wardroom aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) during his third visit to the ship. Iwo Jima is currently pierside in New Orleans, La., in support of Joint Task Force Katrina. The NavyÕs involvement in the humanitarian assistance operations are an effort led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in conjunction with the Department of Defense.
